January 5, 2000

Meetings: Normally the first Wednesday of each month, 8:30 - 10:00 am, United Way Building.

Christmas project report. Served 318 children, 114 families. 11 agencies were served.
What can HSC do for 2000 Year of our Children? Members please get your ideas to Roger Krebs and/or bring to the meetings.
Legislature session starting. What will HSC’s role be in advocating for funding support for our community? Examples are support to keep Dial-a-Ride services. Suggested that the Executive committee draft a letter - moved, seconded and approved by all. Discussion followed. Please get your inputs to the Executive Committee members.
Treasurer's Report: Beginning balance - $4121.59. Income - Memberships $80.00, Christmas Fund $1558.27. Expenses - Christmas $1798.80. New balance - $3961.36.
Minutes for December approved by all.
