Meetings: Normally the first Wednesday of each month, 8:30 - 10:00 am, United Way Building.
In attendance: Dottie Walton-Luglan (American Cancer Society), Carol Miller (BF Health Dept), Juli Davis (Chinook Campfire), Annette Clark (Contact Helpline), Patti Benton, Renee Pottle, Sally Butler (Kennewick Housing Authority), Debi Yadao (Kennewick Housing Authority), Susan Thornton (League of Women Voters), Toni Maritima (Lutheran Social Services), Bruce McComb (RECA Foundation), Melanie Ogryzek (RYSC), Carol Fingerson (Neurological Center), Roger Krebs (TC Residential Svcs), Bev Casey (Women's Resource Center), Jeri Strange (YMCA). Introductions and Announcements (summarized):
Jeri Strange - Christmas Project. Those not at the meeting need to call Jeri at 374-1908 ext 14 to volunteer their help! Dates: December 3 - Gifts Applications returned to Jeri. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT ANY APPLICATIONS AFTER DECEMBER 3. If you need Kids Christmas Gift Applications, please call Jeri. December 4 - 14 - HSC members and other groups/agencies purchase gifts and turn them in at YMCA or Volunteer Center. December 15/16 - Gift wrapped/sorted at Volunteer Center. December 17 - Agencies pick up gifts from Volunteer Center. December 20 - 24 - Gifts delivered to children.
Melanie - The RYSC - Americorps 7th Annual Report is out. Call Melanie at 546-0180 for details. Also still open are 5 positions in the after school program - call if you are interested or know someone who might be.
Roger - gave a quick look at I-695 impact. More at the December meeting.
Carol Miller - B/F Health and Safety Networks. The RE-Direct Resource Directory is seeking corrections and input. Check out http://www.awrd.org or give Carol a call at 586-0207 ext 236.
Jami Cox - He is running an all day workshop at WSU titled "Holster the Anger". It's design for those who deal with youth. Call 372-7200 for more information.
Dottie - Daffodil days reminder.

Business.
Elections: Motion to approve all officers except treasurer was seconded and approved by all. Julie Davis was voted in by written ballot for treasurer. The 1999/2000 officers are:
Chair - Roger Krebs. Chair Elect - Coleen Drinkard. Vice Chair - Jeri Strange. Secretary - Bruce McComb. Treasurer - Juli Davis.
Treasurer's Report
: Beginning balance - $4154.54. Income - $50.00 (2 new memberships). Check Printing fee - $21.95. New balance - 4182.59.Motion to provide up to $300.00 to supplement Kids Christmas Gift program was seconded and approved by all.
Bruce McComb - motion to spend $85.00 for a mini-web page on the Columbia Business Directory. Seconded and approved by all.
Minutes for October approved by all.
