MEETING MINUTES

Officers: Sally Butler (Planned Parenthood of Central Wa) Chair, Roger Krebs (Residential Services) Chair Elect, Jeri Strange (YMCA) Vice Chair, Bruce McComb (RECA Foundation) Secretary, Susan Thornton (League of Women Voters) Treasurer.

Meetings: Normally the first Wednesday of each month, 8:30 - 10:00 am, United Way Building.

In attendance: Ed Frost (BF Transit), Jerry Tyler (BF Health Dept), Juli Davis (Campfire), Sylvia Bakan (Div. of Children & Fam Svcs), Nita Sullivan (FARE), Denine Houchins (Goodwill Industries), Debbi Yadao (Kennewick Housing Authority), Susan Thornton (League of Women Voters), Karlene Navarre (Pasco Housing Authority), Sally Butler (Planned Parenthood), Bruce McComb (RECA Foundation), Carole Fingerson (Neurological Center), Roger Krebs (TC Residential Svcs), Coleen Drinkard (Volunteer Center), Jeri Strange (YMCA). The meeting was called to order by Sally Butler at 8:30 am.

  1. Free Car Seat Checkup. April 14 and May 8 at the BSA Ball Field - off of Ave W, just south of Battelle Blvd.
  2. Maintaining Happiness in the Family. Presented in Spanish. May 12, 6:30 - 9:00 pm, CL Booth Education Service Center in Pasco. Dinner provided free. Seating limited so call 547-9737 ext 237 or 236.
  3. Child Passenger Safety Advocacy Training - May 6 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, Kadlec Medical Center, Cascade-Chinook Room. Call Jerry Tyler, RN 943-2614 ext 254.

Bruce McComb - We have a desktop Cannon copier available for free. Also know of a full sized copier available for free (it supposedly works). Neurological Center and Crisis Response Center are interested.

Treasurer's Report: No activity. Balance $3,668.54
