The Human Services Coalition normally meets the first Wednesday of each month in the United Way Building (401 N. Young, Kennewick). The meetings run from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Our mission statement:

 

The Human Services Coalition advocates for a community responsive to the human needs of health, safety and justice.

The meeting was called to order by Lara Bartol at 9:00am.

 

December 7, 1997 minutes were approved by all.

 

Treasurer’s Report : Beginning Balance - $3482.61; Income - $00; Balance - $3482.61.

 

Old Business: A letter to legislators inviting them to participate as part of the April 1 meeting has been sent. To date, Shirley Hankins will attend, Valoria Loveland is unavailable.

 

New Business: March Program confirmed. Northwest Public Radio – Grant on Welfare Reform (Dave Cillay).
