
The Human Services Coalition normally meets the first Wednesday
of each month in the United Way Building (401 N. Young, Kennewick).
The meetings run from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Our mission statement:

The RECA Foundation's TCFN and CBPIN were selected as Semi-Finalists
in three categories: Community Technology Building, Public Access,
and Promise the Children. Finalists to be selected in February
1998 and Winners in March 1998. A guided tour is available on

The meeting was called to order by Lara Bartol at 9:00am.
December 3, 1997 minutes were approved by all.
Treasurer's Report (October): Beginning Balance - $3432.61;
Income - $50.00; Balance - $3482.61.
Letter to Legislators. All approved a motion for a letter
from the HSC to the Legislators concerning the DDD Budget Deficit.
Program:
Planning for 1998. The basic mission of the HSC will remain
the same with monthly programs focused on broad areas of interest
and benefit to all members. Sharing information with each other
as well as the greater community is central to the mission. There
will be a greater emphasis on communicating with elected officials.
Committees will be formed as the need arises and as volunteers
step forward.
